Ch. 147 138.01 ESTABLISHMENT. The Sheffield Lake Rescue Squad No. 1 presently existing in the City is hereby established as a division of the Department of Public Safety, to be known as the Division of Health. The Squad shall have such duties and functions as are presently incumbent upon it and such other duties and functions as may be established by Council. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.02 STAFF AND SUPERVISION OF RESCUE SQUAD NO. 1. (a) The Sheffield Lake Rescue Squad No. 1 shall be staffed by the Fire Division and shall be supervised by the Fire Chief who shall be known as the Chief of the Rescue Squad when attending to his duties as supervisor of the Sheffield Lake Rescue Squad No. 1. (b) The position of Lieutenant of the Rescue Squad is hereby established. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.03 RULES AND REGULATIONS. The Director of Public Safety, together with the Chief of the Rescue Squad and the Lieutenant of the Rescue Squad, shall draw up rules and regulations to govern the operation of the Rescue Squad. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.04 CONFLICTS. It shall not be a conflict of interest for any officer or member of the Division of Fire to be an officer or member of the Division of Health. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.05 COMPENSATION. Members of the Division of Health shall serve without pay and shall not be compensated by the City in any way for so serving. Officers of the Division shall serve without pay and shall not be compensated in any way by the City for so serving. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.06 RESCUE SQUAD FU ND. (a) There is hereby established a fund known as the Rescue Squad Fund. (b) All moneys placed in such fund as a result of contributions or donations shall be expended solely for equipment materials and other needs that may from time to time arise for the maintenance and operation of the Rescue Squad. (c) The limitation on expenditures set forth in subsection (b) hereof shall not apply to any funds that may be placed in the Rescue Squad Fund from the General Fund of the City or other governmental funds. (d) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to deprive Council of its right to control the nature of expenditures made from the Rescue Squad Fund. (Ord. 118-79. Passed 12-11-79.) The Sheffield Lake Rescue Squad No. 1 presently existing in the City is hereby established as a division of the Department of Public Safety, to be known as the Division of Health. The Squad shall have such duties and functions as are presently incumbent upon it and such other duties and functions as may be established by Council. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.02 STAFF AND SUPERVISION OF RESCUE SQUAD NO. 1. (a) The Sheffield Lake Rescue Squad No. 1 shall be staffed by the Fire Division and shall be supervised by the Fire Chief who shall be known as the Chief of the Rescue Squad when attending to his duties as supervisor of the Sheffield Lake Rescue Squad No. 1. (b) The position of Lieutenant of the Rescue Squad is hereby established. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.03 RULES AND REGULATIONS. The Director of Public Safety, together with the Chief of the Rescue Squad and the Lieutenant of the Rescue Squad, shall draw up rules and regulations to govern the operation of the Rescue Squad. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.04 CONFLICTS. It shall not be a conflict of interest for any officer or member of the Division of Fire to be an officer or member of the Division of Health. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.05 COMPENSATION. Members of the Division of Health shall serve without pay and shall not be compensated by the City in any way for so serving. (a) There is hereby established a fund known as the Rescue Squad Fund. (b) All moneys placed in such fund as a result of contributions or donations shall be expended solely for equipment materials and other needs that may from time to time arise for the maintenance and operation of the Rescue Squad. (c) The limitation on expenditures set forth in subsection (b) hereof shall not apply to any funds that may be placed in the Rescue Squad Fund from the General Fund of the City or other governmental funds. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.05 COMPENSATION. Members of the Division of Health shall serve without pay and shall not be compensated by the City in any way for so serving. Officers of the Division shall serve without pay and shall not be compensated in any way by the City for so serving. (Ord. 31-72. Passed 3-28-72.) 138.06 RESCUE SQUAD FU ND. (a) There is hereby established a fund known as the Rescue Squad Fund. (b) All moneys placed in such fund as a result of contributions or donations shall be expended solely for equipment materials and other needs that may from time to time arise for the maintenance and operation of the Rescue Squad. (c) The limitation on expenditures set forth in subsection (b) hereof shall not apply to any funds that may be placed in the Rescue Squad Fund from the General Fund of the City or other governmental funds. (d) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to deprive Council of its right to control the nature of expenditures made from the Rescue Squad Fund. (Ord. 118-79. Passed 12-11-79.)
