Ch. 1383     1379.01 MINIMUM FIRE RATED MATERIALS REQUIRED.    All walls, floors and ceilings in all duplex and multi-family residence buildings constructed within the City shall be constructed with materials having a two-hour minimum fire rating. Passed 6-25-78.) 1379.02 OCCUPANCY PERMIT DENIAL FOR NONCOMPLIANCE.    No occupancy permit shall be issued for any duplex or multi-family residence building constructed after the effective date of this section unless such duplex or multi-family residence construction has all walls, floors and ceilings constructed with material having a two-hour minimum or higher fire rating. Passed 6-25-78.) 1379.99 PENALTY.    In addition to the provisions set forth in this chapter, anyone constructing a duplex or multi-family residence building with walls, floors and ceilings not in accord with the requirements of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
