Ch. 903 Superintendent to enforce drainage regulations - see S.U. & P.S. 905.05     145.01 SUPERINTENDENT OF ROADS AND SANITATION.    (a)    There is hereby established the position of Superintendent of Roads and Sanitation in the Department of Public Service. Such position shall be under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Service.    (b)    The duties of the Superintendent of Roads and Sanitation shall be prescribed by the Director of Public Service. Such duties will be those regularly required of a superintendent of roads and sanitation and shall include supervision and direction of other employees of the Division of Streets and Roads and the Division of Sanitation and may include performing of duties other than that of supervision, including any and all duties up to and including supervision of other employees.    (c)    The position of Superintendent of Roads and Sanitation shall be included and within the classified service. The Civil Service Commission shall provide for the examination of applicants for appointment to such position. The names of the applicants for such position shall be submitted to the Mayor who shall appoint an applicant for the position. (Ord. 9-68. Passed 2-13-68. )    (d)    The salary of the Superintendent shall be taken from the following funds:          Sanitation Fund - 17%          Street Maintenance and Repair Fund - 83% (Ord. 23-76. Passed 3-23-76.) 145.02 SERVICE WORK UNIFORMS.    All employees of the Division of Streets and Roads, both hourly and salaried, shall be entitled to departmental service work uniforms supplied by the City.
