709.01    Adoption of standards.

709.01 ADOPTION OF STANDARDS.
   (a)    The City hereby adopts the foster care regulations of the State of Ohio as the Foster Care Regulations of the City, provided, however, the City Foster Care Regulations shall be supplemented from time to time with any regulations that are proposed by the Fire Chief of the City, subject to the approval of such regulation by a majority vote of Council on a motion to adopt such regulation. Any such regulation that is adopted by Council by a majority of vote on a motion to adopt shall not take effect nor shall it be in full force until thirty days after the approval of such regulation by the majority vote of Council.
   (b)    Nothing in this section shall allow or be interpreted to allow the operation of any foster care facility in any area of the City in which such foster care facility cannot otherwise be lawfully operated.
